About Erika
I help students from New York City, across the country, and around the world achieve top scores on the SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, and ISEE, and develop mindsets and strategies to succeed in the classroom and in life.
When I was in high school, I was s-t-r-e-s-s-e-d.
In college, I began examining my habits—the actions and the thoughts that I engaged with on a regular basis. Moreover, I began seeking out new habits and perspectives to improve my experience. Over time, I found that the new habits I developed not only helped me feel better, but also perform better. Unencumbered by stress, I could think and act more clearly and deliberately. When I began working with students on test prep, I saw that the traditional approach to test prep—teaching students formulas and techniques, conducting practice tests, and hoping for the best—is insufficient. In order to achieve maximum results, students must also directly address stress, anxiety, and attention issues. I created and developed a whole-person approach to test prep which enables students to feel energized, effective, and engaged. When students feel like their best selves, they get their best results. |
I've included some other background information about me below. I look forward to getting to know you over a conversation. Please reach out to schedule a complimentary consultation or with any questions you have about the test prep process.
