As my students know (and readers of my book will soon find out), I'm a big proponent of creating playlists that evoke the energy you want to have in a specific situation. I love hitting "shuffle" as much as the next person, but it works best when you know every song is a win! A playlist is a fun tool to facilitate focusing, energizing, or unwinding before or after a test. It sets exactly the mood you want to have going into or leaving the test or—in my case—during a photoshoot.
